Hey Book Nerds! Guess what day of the week it is?? TUESDAY! And you know what that means…. A NEW TEASER! Phew, it’s been a while since I did one of these posts. But let me remind all of you, these are my favorite posts to do! And even, these make Tuesdays SO. MUCH. BETTER. Do any of you just hate sitting in math class on a Tuesday when there is still four days left of the week? Well, same. But somehow book bloggers need to lighten up Tuesdays, so we have weekly teasers!
For those who have never heard of Teaser Tuesday, it is a weekly blog segment where bloggers share a short excerpt from their current read. It can be anywhere in the novel, but I usually do my current page! And it is also FREE of spoilers, which is amazing for anyone who hasn’t read the book! Hope you enjoy!
‘Her mind still spinning like a kaleidoscope, she was glad to find the dining car relatively empty. A bored-looking bartender stood inside a circular bar, watching a netscreen talk show that Scarlet had never liked. Two women were drinking mimosas at a small table. A young man was sitting with his legs up in a booth, tapping furiously on his port. Four androids loitered beside the wall, waiting to make deliveries to the private cars.
Scarlet sat down at the bar, setting her port beside a glass of green olives.

This little teaser (okay, it’s a bit of a longer teaser) was found on page 171 of Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I picked this book up the other day and have fallen in love with this series again. I even audio booked it on my walk to school this morning! And holy dynamite, Iko in the audiobook is so flipping cute!!
