Teaser Tuesday #43

TEASER

Hey everyone, and welcome back to my blog! Today is the infamous Tuesday, also known as everyone’s least favorite day of the week, and the day where us book bloggers share out top ten lists and teasers! For me, I am all about the teasers, since I really don’t have time to make a list of ten things. That’s a little overboard. But, today I am going to be sharing a little teaser with you from my current read!

I had no idea what to do for her. The best I could was spend the evenings with her on her days off, after I finished with the onyx stuff. Keeping her company and distracted seem to help.

It seems to be that I am on a role with reading one of these books a week. But, even though I do believe I am going at a slower pace with Opal, I absolutely love it. Out of all of the books, this one definitely has some of the best scenes. There is also so much romance that I can’t help but love this book! Most authors aren’t capable of this, but Jennifer L. Armentrout has created 3 AMAZING first books in a series. And trust me, they are all worth reading.

Opal (Lux, #3)No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well… There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different… And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger…and they know it.

And that’s it for today! Be sure to let me know what you are currently reading! Also, don’t forget to like this post and follow my blog to stay up to date with all of my future posts!

Teaser Tuesday #42

TEASER

Hey everyone, and welcome back to my blog. Today’s post is actually a super special installment of Teaser Tuesday since it is the first teaser of 2018! Insane, right? I had a lot of fun doing these throughout 2017 that I just NEEDED to bring them back for 2018. And to start off the year, I am re-reading an amazing, alien-filled novel with a swoon-worthy hottie in it named Daemon Black! Any guesses? Let’s get started!

Shaking his head, he unfolded the note, much to my – and I’m sure, to Lesa and Carissa’s – horror. I wanted to die as I watched those vibrant eyes quickly scan the note. I knew when he got to my part, because his dark brows shot up his forehead.
He grinned, used his mouth to pop off the cap of his pen, and wrote something on the page. Groaning, I glanced at Lesa and Carissa. Lesa’s mouth was hanging open and Carissa’s cheeks matched mine. God, he was taking enough time.

Yup, another Lux novel featuring THE smoking hot (literally) Daemon Black. If you remember last week’s Teaser Tuesday, I posted a teaser of Obsidian. Now, I am just over halfway through the sequel and really loving it! It has such a good pace and I already know that there are so many exciting scenes ahead. My re-read of this series has been sooooo enjoyable so far and both a great way to bring reading back into my life and enjoy my winter break.

Onyx (Lux, #2)Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…

Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

Something worse than the Arum has come to town…

The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there’s this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that’s possible. Against all common sense, I’m falling for Daemon. Hard.

But then everything changes…

I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

And that’s it for today! Let me know what you are currently reading in the comments. I would love to know! And don’t forget to like and follow my blog to stay up to date with all of my future posts!
