Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Fancasts

Hey everyone! For today’s Top 5 Wednesday, I am going to be talking about fancasted characters, which really isn’t something that I talk about often on my blog. But, fancasts are basically characters that fans have casted actors for possible movies and TV shows. These actors usually aren’t the ones that directors cast for the parts, but it is always fun to use our imagination and cast the characters ourselves! Below are my top 5:

1. Pepe Toth as Daemon Black (Obsidian):
   Okay, okay, we all expected me to say this one. No surprise there. For those who don’t already know, Pepe Toth is the cover model for Daemon Black on the covers of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Lux series. And, almost everyone who has read these books will agree with this fancasting. Pepe has the signature Daemon tousled hair, the nice jawline, and basically everything perfect for Daemon! Although he needs to wear contacts to match Daemon’s unique eye colour, everything else is perfect!

2. Margot Robbie as Manon Blackbeak (Throne of Glass):
   Just in case you don’t already know, Margot Robbie played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. I’m pretty sure that a lot of people would disagree with me on this one, but Margot Robbie really reminds me of Manon. Of course, whenever we see fanart of her, Manon has a slightly hooked nose, but everything else about Margot reminds me of Manon! Margot Robbie already has the platinum coloured hair, she has eyebrows darker than her hair colour, and can pull off a perfect evil smile!

3. Natalia Dyer as Blue Sargent (The Raven Boys):
   She is definitely more of an unknown actor, but Natalia Dyer plays Mike’s sister in Stranger Things. She definitely has an innocent vibe, but I feel like a haircut could really spunk up her hairstyle. Also, some hair dye since Blue Sargent has really dark hair. But, I can just imagine Natalia Dyer as Blue hanging out with The Raven Boys!

4. Matthew Daddario as Azriel (A Court of Mist and Fury):
   For those who don’t already know, Matthew Daddario plays Alec Lightwood on Shadowhunters. So really, we’ve already seen him in an adaptation. But, I find that Matthew Daddario looks very similar to Azriel. I don’t actually remember if Azriel had blue eyes or not, but Matthew Daddario’s general look reminds me of Azriel. I mean, he does have the dark hair, and he can pull off a killer secretive face.

5. Barbara Palvin as Katy Swartz (Obsidian):
   I nevr really thought of casting my favorite character before, but I found out that Barbara Palvin really does look like Katy! I’m pretty sure that Katy’s description was what was making me not want to fancast her. I mean, the first book states that her hair is “light brown,” and the third states that her hair is “chocolate brown.” TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT SHADES! But, Barbara Palvin, with neutral makeup really reminds me of Katy. She has the brown hair, and she has the grey-ish eyes. The only things she lacks are the Florida tan and the curvier figure.
