Teaser Tuesday #41

TEASER

Hey everyone, and welcome back to my blog. I know it has been a REALLY LONG time since I last blogged, but I was in desperate need of a break from the book world. After reading over 60 books in 2017, I needed to take a short break from both reading and blogging. So basically, I haven’t read a book since November, nor have I touched a book since then. Although I am still going to be very busy with school and sports in 2018, I’m going to try my best to keep up with reading and blogging again.

Anyways, since it’s Tuesday, I thought I would come back with a classic “An Infinite Book World” post: Teaser Tuesday. You all know how much I love doing these posts and I am so excited to share my current read with you. SO, let’s get into it!

Dee shrugged and went over and grabbed a rake. She looked funny in her skirt and wedge sandals, which she insisted were the height of gardening couture, and dragged the rake over to me.”This is fun, thought.”

“Better than shopping?”

She seemed to consider it seriously, scrunching her nose. “Yeah, it’s more…relaxing.”

Okay, I have probably read this book more times than most people would, but it’s like a comfort read for me. I love the story, the characters and Jennifer L. Armentrout’s writing style. Literally, this book is the perfect mix of science-fiction, paranormal, romance and cliche-ness. I plan to re-binge-read this whole series over winter break and possibly even revamp some of my old reviews!

Obsidian (Lux, #1)Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring… until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something… unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

And that’s it for today’s post. Once again, thank you so much to all of you that still followed my blog through my hiatus. It means a lot to me that some of you still stayed by while I was gone. Anyways, don’t forget to like, comment and follow my blog to stay up to date with all of my future posts!

Happy Reading,
Alaina
