Teaser Tuesday #40

TEASER

Hey everyone, and welcome back for another Teaser Tuesday! Autumn is in full swing and I am totally getting Halloween vibes from my current read. Let me just say that my current read is a little bit “peculiar.” Let’s dive straight into the excerpt.

Puzzled,I shrugged it off and went out. It was pissing rain I soon left gray skies behind for the reliable sun of the loop. This time, however, there were no pretty girls waiting for me on the other side of the cairn – or anyone, for that matter. I tried not to be too disappointed, but I was, a little.

Yup, I am finally getting to Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs! This has been on my TBR for months now, and I am so excited to be finally reading it. I was able to grab a copy of this for less than $5.00 earlier this year and just had to read it in October. With the creepy pictures, this is definitely a perfect October read.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #1)A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of curious photographs.

A horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows.

And that is it for today! I hope you all enjoyed this post! If you are reading anything at the moment, definitely tell me down below! I would love to know what you all are reading. Other than that, be sure to like and follow to stay up to date with all of my future posts!

Happy Reading,
Alaina
