Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means. Another teaser! I’ve been slacking a little bit at reading my current read and it has actually been on my Goodreads “currently reading” shelf since January. It’s not that it’s a horrible book, it’s just that I’m not overly interested in it. But, there are so many great quotes from this book and I am so excited to give you all a little teaser. So, let’s get started!
Safer, because if there was any way to, she was leaving him. She was going home, home to hide under covers that smelled like bleach and violets and to sleep until she forgot the last three days. She wanted to take a shower so hot that it gave her a sunburn. She wanted to cry until she didn’t have any tears left, until the salt of them dried on her cheeks and blew away.

And this is where I ended up falling asleep last night. I am currently about 60% into the book with around 169 pages left, which means that it is totally possible for me to finish this book today! I want to try to make the most out of my final week of break, and that means that I want to do A LOT of reading! So, hopefully I will be able to finish this today, and read a few others before September 5th.
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is one of those vampire tales that you need to at least try. It gets a different reaction from everyone! Even though I’m not its biggest fan, I definitely believe that you all should give it a try. Below is the synopsis if you are interested:
Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.
One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.
And that is it for today! I hope you enjoyed this week’s teaser. If you have read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, definitely leave some of your spoiler-free thoughts below! Don’t forget to give this post a like and follow my blog to stay up to date with all of my future posts!
Happy Reading,
