The Liebster Award!

Hey everyone! I was recently tagged by Shoshi over at Shoshi Reads to do the Liebster award. I’ve been wanting to do this award for so long now, and have finally been nominated! If you haven’t checked out Shoshi’s blog in the past, you definitely should go check it out. She is constantly posting great content that is definitely worth checking out. Now, let’s get into the award!

Now, let’s get into Shoshi’s questions:

When did you start blogging?
I started blogging in October 2015, so it has definitely been a while! I originally read the Lux series between June and September of 2015, and felt super inspired to make my own blog! I didn’t do too much blogging between my starting date and December 2016, but after that, I started to get really into it!

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. I’m not sure if I am liking it or not, but I am about 200 pages into it! So be on the lookout for a review in the next few days.

How do you organize your books (by series, rainbow order, etc.)?
Ummm… I don’t really have an organization method. I guess you could say that it is by genre. I basically keep fantasy, and sci-fi together and keep my contemporary books on a separate shelf. But my shelves are so full that it sometimes just comes down to wherever a book will squeeze in.

Do you create TBRs for the month to help you decide what to read? If so, what are some books on your TBR?
Yep. I usually put between 3 and 5 books on my monthly TBRs, depending on how busy my month will be. In August, I planned to read Oblivion by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Room by Emma Donoghue, The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon, The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen, and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Luckily I was able to finish all of them! Be on the lookout for my September TBR at the beginning of next month.

What is your favorite season and why?
Definitely Autumn! I love how the leaves curl up and turn bright shades of auburn, orange and gold. I love how coffee shops start serving their pumpkin-flavoured beverages. I love how the weather gets cooler and we get to wear knitted sweaters and flannels. Overall, I really love the vibe that autumn gives off!

What is your favorite drink?
I LOOOOOVVVEEE coffee! I actually just drank coffee before starting this post. But I love lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and just plain ole’ coffee! I am especially waiting on Starbucks to release their Pumpkin Spice latte! I am sooo ready.

Are you doing the Goodreads reading challenge? If so, what is your goal for 2017 and how many books have you read so far?
Yes, I am! My original goal was 40 books, but I bumped it to 60 after I realized that I was definitely going to pass that goal. I have currently read 54 out of 60 books, which is really exciting for me since I only managed to read 39 last year.

What is your favorite book read in 2017?
Nobody knows how much I hate this question. How can I choose? There have been so many! A few that I really enjoyed were Lady Midnight, An Ember in the Ashes, Six of Crows, Scarlet, The Unexpected Everything, The Bone Season, and so many others!

If you could meet one author who would it be?
Jennifer L. Armentrout! it’s on my bucketlist and it would definitely be a dream come true to meet her. I just want to have a 10 hour chat about Daemon Black and her books with her!

What device do you blog on?
My laptop! The WordPress app really sucks.

What is your favorite genre?
Ahh, I am a sucker for a good paranormal romance! Some of my favorites include Obsidian ( ❤ ❤ ❤ ), Sweet Evil and Hush, Hush!
