TBR

Hey everyone! I feel like I hardly ever talk about the books that I have on my TBR. I don’t have an overly huge TBR, but I also don’t have a lot of big-name books on it. Because, we all like a good book deal, am I right? A lot of the books that I am going to be talking about are either used or Chapters had a super good sale going on. But, today I am going to be sharing ALL of the books on my TBR (as of July 2017) with you. It’s not a huge list, but it still intimidates me.

Middle Grade novels…

  • The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

YA novels…

  • Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  • Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
  • Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
  • The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
  • Symphony for the City of the Dead: Dmitri Shostakovich and the Siege of Leningrad by M. T. Anderson
  • The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell
  • Dreamland by Robert L. Anderson
  • Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
  • Gone by Michael Grant
  • The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
  • The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holy Black
  • Thirst by Christopher Pike

Adult novels…

  • The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
  • The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
  • Room by Emma Donoghue
  • After Alice by Gregory Maguire
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
  • The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

Classics…

  • Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  • Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
  • The Illiad by Homer
  • The Odyssey by Homer
  • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  • Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
  • The Winter’s Tale by Shakespeare
  • Othello by Shakespeare
  • Macbeth by Shakespeare
  • Animal Farm by George Orwell

And that’s everything on my TBR! Not a whole lot but there is definitely enough to last me a while. I can’t wait to get through a bunch of these books throughout the upcoming months!

What do your TBRs look like? Leave a comment below letting me know what are some of the books on your TBR that you cannot wait to get to. For me, it’s The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the book and I can’t wait to read it soon.

      1. I need to find a nice shame gif to add to it. Because I know for a fact I have about 100 books 😂

      2. haha! I don’t have too many so I guess mine isn’t too shameful. But, I can’t wait to see the GIF!

  2. Yesterday I created a Classics TBR list on Goodreads cause I really haven’t read any classics 🙂 Jane Eyre is one of them and a handful of Jane Austen is some of the classics I want to read.

    1. I have a ton that I want to get to. The only classic I’ve ever read is Wuthering Heights.

  3. Why shame yourself for having books? 😋even if they are unread… still love to see what you have on your tbr🤗

  4. That’s a nice list right there, haha!

I don’t ever want to type out mine though.. I have three shelves of my bookcase stacked with TBR’s. Two of those are double-stacked. [Not to mention the huge book haul of July that I added this weekend.]

I read Anna Dressed In Blood last month but really didn’t like it enough to even think about reading the sequel for some reason. I just felt like the first was good enough and I didn’t need to read more.. Kind of disappointing really. Maybe you’ll convince me to pick it up after all, haha!

[Got here through Goodreads by the way. :D]

    1. Haha, thank you! I have a decent about of books to-read, but I don’t go to the bookstore enough/buy books enough to call it HUGE! Also, I haven’t actually read Anna Dressed in Blood. I found a copy of Girl of Nightmares at a used book sale in perfect condition and I just thought, “why not?!”

    1. Thank you. Mine isn’t overly large so it isn’t too intimidating for me. I also have a large amount of older books on it.
