Hey Book Nerds, and welcome back for another teaser! I swear, this is the earliest I’ve ever written this post, and I am totally blaming it on the rain outside. But, I am currently reading a beautiful book that was just recently adapted into a film. I have been wanting to read this book for such a long time and was recently able to find a super good deal on it! So now, without further ado, let’s dive straight into this week’s teaser!

I’m stronger with each passing day. Nothing hurts except my heart, but I’m trying not to use it. I keep the blinds closed. I read my books. Existential or nihilist ones. I have no patience for books that pretend life has meaning. I have no patience for happy endings.

I literally started this book yesterday and am almost finished it! I guess that’s one of the joys of summer: extended lengths of reading time. But, this book is such a quick, breezy novel. It isn’t really a chapter book, too. Nicola Yoon’s words are written through text messages, emails, and little notebook drawings. If you are ever looking for a very easy read after a hard novel, go with this one. I’m pretty sure any one, of any age would be able to get through this novel.

I am so excited to see the movie in the near future, because this book has been amazing! I know that they will probably do some things differently, but I am still hoping that it lives up to the book! And even, there a two great actors in the film. What could go wrong?

If you are interested in reading this book, here’s the synopsis:

Everything, EverythingMy disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

THAT’S IT FOR TODAY! I hope you enjoyed this week’s teaser! Don’t forget to like, comment and follow to stay up to date with my new posts!

Happy Reading!
