WOOT WOOT! It’s Tuesday!
Hey Book Nerds and welcome back for another teaser! I’ve been looking forward to writing this ALL DAY because my current read is really good. Like, I am almost finished it good! Usually, with school going on, I try to prioritize homework and assignments. But, I decided to put in some ME time these past few days and give myself a break. Who knew that getting homework finished in class is like THE BEST THING EVER! Haha! But anyways, let’s get straight into the teaser!
Sitting next to Sean on the merry-go-round made me realize how long it’d been since I’d counted the inches that separated our fingers. How long since I’d tried to number the flecks of silver that shot through his eyes.
How long since I’d stopped.
So long, and not long at all.

I actually wasn’t expecting myself to pick this book up for a few more weeks. But some times we do the unexpected. My original plan for June was to binge read all of the review novels I have received from authors and publishers. But I thought I would take a little break from that. And holy, I never realized how much I needed a fresh contemporary! They kind of work as a mind-reliever after reading so many fantasies. But this one really wasn’t what I expected. It is deep, heart-felt and will make you wanna just crawl in a corner and cry for Jill. If you are a fan of boy next door stories, and love triangles, this book is perfect for you!
Here’s the synopsis if you are interested!
When sixteen-year-old Jill Whitaker’s mom walks out—with a sticky note as a goodbye—only Jill knows the real reason she’s gone. But how can she tell her father? Jill can hardly believe the truth herself.
Suddenly, the girl who likes to fix things—cars, relationships, romances, people—is all broken up. Used to be, her best friend, tall, blond and hot flirt Sean Addison, could make her smile in seconds. But not anymore. They don’t even talk.
With nothing making sense, Jill tries to pick up the pieces of her life. But when a new guy moves in next door, intense, seriously cute, but with scars—on the inside and out—that he thinks don’t show, Jill finds herself trying to make things better for Daniel. But over one long, hot Arizona summer, she realizes she can’t fix anyone’s life until she fixes her own. And she knows just where to start.
Just look at how beautiful that cover is! I would highly suggest this book for lovers of Sarah Dessen and Morgan Matson! Anyways, that’s it for today’s post! I hope that you enjoyed this week’s teaser! Don’t forget to like, comment and follow for more posts!
Happy Reading!
