Top 5 Wednesday: Top Sci-Fi/Fantasy Covers

Hey Book Lovers! Are any of you huge suckers for a pretty book cover? I know I am! Because really, who doesn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Let’s be real, what cover looks better: a plain white cover with a balloon, or a kick-butt fantasy cover with weapons and a fierce looking female? (You betcha I’m talking about Throne of Glass!) Covers are the first part of a book that readers get to see so, the pretty ones are usually the first picks! So, today I’m going to show all of you my favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy covers. Please feel free to share yours down below or comment the link to your own Top 5 Wednesday post!

  1. These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1)The Starbound Trilogy by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner:
I feel like it’s been so long since I read the first book in this series! Almost two years, I think! Although I still haven’t continued this series yet, the covers still stand as my #1 favorite! How could you not love them? They are super epic! Galaxies, floating people and LOTS OF COLOUR! I absolutely love them and cannot wait to own them all. (might be display books for the future…)

  2. Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas:
Like I said above, these covers are those eye-catching, kick-butt covers that showcase an amazing fantasy novel! And I will say, the covers look just as good as the actual book! I absolutely love the idea that every book features Celaena in the very center! And she’s holding weapons! What more can you want from a fantasy novel? (Okay, maybe Rowan should make an appearance on the final cover…)

  3. Plus OnePlus One by Elizabeth Fama
I have been dying to get my hands on a copy of this book ever since it released! And to be honest, it’s mainly just because of the cover. I don’t even think I’ve ever read the synopsis. Haha! But really, just look at that beautiful cover. It’s TO DIE FOR! Honestly, even though they are a bit SEXY, I love how it’s like the two people are two different sections of the light spectrum. One dark, one light. They do say that opposites attract..

  4. A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3)A Court Of Wings And Ruin by Sarah J. Maas:
Okay, Okay, there may just be a bunch of Sarah J. Maas books on this list but, she seriously has an amazing group of cover designers for her books! The covers are just beyond beautiful. but instead of picking the whole ACOTAR trilogy, I narrowed it down to ACOWAR since it has the prettiest cover! And even, this was the first one that the cover artists finally remembered what they did with the Throne of Glass covers and centered Feyre!

  5. Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1)Across The Universe (original) by Beth Revis:
Who doesn’t want to search through every website until they find an original edition of this book? Definitely count me in! I absolutely hate the new covers. They got rid of the beautiful galactic intimacy of the original and replaced it with rock. ROCK. Who wants to read a book with rock on the cover. Because of this cover change, I won’t be reading this book until I find it with the original cover.

THAT’S IT FOR TODAY! I hope you all enjoyed reading about my favorite covers! Don’t forget to like, comment and follow for more content!

Happy Reading!

  3. Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design. Thank you

    1. I actually customized it myself. I basically just started with one of the WordPress themes and customized it how I liked it.

  5. This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  6. Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

  9. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.
