As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

MY THOUGHTS:

This book was absolutely phenomenal! I loved every minute of it. It was super entertaining, fast paced and overall stellar. I don’t lean towards reading retellings too often but this book made me want to star reading WAAAAAY more and jump off my bed a go watch Beauty And The Beast. (update** I still haven’t watched it since I finished this book.)

Feyre was a badass goddess in this novel. She was super relatable and had such an amazing warrior inside her. It’s not everyday that you read a book that introduces the brave, warrior side of the main character immediately. But this one did, and it made me want to continue through this world. The first chapter of this book was extraordinaire and was probably my favorite chapter of the novel.

I know that this isn’t right but, I loved Tamlin! I know, I know, RHYSAND? But Tamlin was such a nice character throughout this novel that I couldn’t help but enjoy his character. And he definitely ended up being super similar to “The Beast”. But, I’m pretty sure I am going to hate him in ACOMAF along with everyone else who loved him in ACOTAR.

And holy, I never thought I would love as many minor characters in a novel as I did in this one! Elain and Nesta were two of my personal favorites throughout this novel. It was so sad to watch them live bankrupt, malnutritious and poor at the beginning but they were so happy when Feyre returned in their mansion that I couldn’t help but love them! I also loved Lucien. He is also a character I’ve heard bad things about in ACOMAF but he was so funny and enjoyable to read about.

Overall, this novel’s retelling of Beauty And The Beast was on point! I remember watching booktube videos when it first came out (when I was just getting into reading) and I always thought I would hate the book. But, those were the days that I would only read dystopian. once my reading spread into more genres, I knew I had to get this book! I am a killer for a good fantasy read and this one did not disappoint! I waited so long to read this, since I wanted it in paperback (money issues haha) and it was definitely worth it!

I am dying to get my hands on a copy of ACOMAF immediately. But, I’m guessing you all know that I WILL BE AT THE BOOKSTORE ON May 2 to get my hands on that beautiful, blue paperback! And then I will probably end up getting the hardcover of ACOWAR immediately after I finish reading ACOMAF! I know, I will end up having a mixed up series but, I might end up getting 2 copies of ACOWAR in the future!

This book is definitely added to my favorites list! All of Sarah J. Maas’ books are amazing and never stop getting better. If you haven’t read this book or any of Sarah’s other books, you absolutely must go to your bookstore immediately and pick them up!

A Court Of Thorns And Roses is a must-read for all YA lovers! It is a sit-in-bed-all-day, curl up in front of a fireplace type of read. Ooooh, some coffee or hot cocoa also sounds perfect for this book. Get some of that too but don’t spill it on your beautiful book!

That’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed my review of this amazing book! Don’t forget to comment, like and follow my blog. Also, be sure to check out my bookstagram (same username as my blog). You can find it on the side of my blog if you are on a computer, or the bottom if you are on a phone!
