Teaser Tuesday #11

Happy day 1 of “12 days of blogmas”! I haven’t done a Teaser Tuesday in forever so what better time to start doing them again than today. Basically, Teaser Tuesday is a segment I do on my blog every Tuesday where I give all of you mini excerpts from my current read. These are some of my favorite posts to do and sadly, I had to stop doing them for a while because of school. (grrrr… school). But since it is almost winter break and I’ve caught up on time management, Teaser Tuesdays are coming back! I hope you all enjoy!

“I made it to the empty kitchen, gobbled down half a loaf of bread, an apple, and  lemon tart. I nibbled on a chocolate cookie as I walked to my little painting room.I needed to get some of the furious images out of my mind, even if I had to paint by candlelight.”

For those who couldn’t figure it out, this teaser is from A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas. It is a magnificent novel about the lands of Prythian and the high fae who live amongst them. I’m about 200 pages into the book and can already tell that it will be one of my favorites of the year! If you’ve never heard of or read the book, here’s the synopsis:

Image result for a court of thorns and rosesWhen nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

I highly suggest that everyone buys this book as soon as possible and read it. It is very action-packed and swoony and who doesn’t love that?

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a great day.

Happy Reading!
