My Thoughts:

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!! IT WAS THE EPITOME OF ALL BOOKS AND I COULDN’T HAVE WISHED FOR ANYTHING BETTER FROM SARAH J. MAAS!

Wow, that was one heck of an intro but we’ll just go with it because it is the absolute truth. This book completed me. It filled me with sorrow, happiness, pity and every other emotion one could experience throughout life. This book did the unexpected to me, too. It compelled me to love books even more, which from anytime before that, I would’ve said was impossible. Just a reminder to myself, anything is possible.

One of my favorite pasts of this novel was Celaena herself, of course. **Wow, shocker**. I should probably get into the hang of calling her Aelin now but I feel like at heart, she still Celaena. Even if Celaena was never her real name. But ANYWAYS, in QOS, Aelin brought out the every bit of her bad-ass personality. She was feisty, scary and full-on fierce. Aelin brought forward everything within her. She killed, fought and saved people for her loved ones. And in the end her “court”(is that even the right word?) was made, with her as queen.

Could anyone believe all of the stress Sarah put us through waiting for Rowan to come back? I couldn’t help but wonder to myself, “what is she doing to me. what is this series without Rowan?”. But then, out of no where, he comes back and pieces the whole story back together. It went from a helpless Aelin, Aedion, Chaol and Lysandra to the queen’s court. Rowan basically makes the series as amazing as it is and I don’t think I would be able to continue it if he was killed off.

I’m so sorry that this post was short but It’s pretty late here and I really wanted to get it up! So here it is. I hope you all had an amazing thanksgiving (if you’re American) and are prepared to hit up every single store tomorrow. Happy reading! Xxxx, Alaina
