Character Spotlight #4 || January 28

Hello everybody! I’m terribly sorry that I haven’t been able to work on blog posts recently. These past two weeks have been quite busy for me with school and once I got home everyday, all I wanted to do was sit and read. But, Last night, I made time and was finally able to watch the first three episodes. They were all amazing. My reviews on those episodes will hopefully go up on Monday or Wednesday. I also have a tag going up soon. My friend Pearl tagged me to do the Rip it or Ship it tag a really long time ago and I’ve done all of the work for it. All I have to do is actually write the post. There is also a very special post going up tomorrow so stay tuned. Now, without further ado, let’s get into this post.

This week’s character is Bethany Williams from the Lux series. And yes, I do realize that all of the characters I’ve picked are girls.

lux

Bethany – well actually her name is Elizabeth, she just prefers to go by Bethany – is a strong hearted and genuine character from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. She is featured the most in Shadows (Lux 0.5), mentioned in Obsidian, Oblivion and Onyx and is a main character in Opal, Origin and Opposition. She may not have a super big role in the Lux series but she sure is a characters that readers of the Lux series will love.

Physical appearance:

The only part in the books that explained what Bethany looked like was a line from Shadows. As you think about this line, think about Dawson picturing this in his mind: “The way this girl’s elfin features were pieced together was absolute perfection. Chocolate-colored hair slid over her shoulders. Her skin held a healthy glow from being out in the sun a lot. Finely groomed eyebrows set off tilted eyes framed with heavy lashes. Warm brown eyes connected with his.”

Personality:

Bethany is an inexplicably genuine person and is extremely nice. She is also a very happy person, as you find out in Shadows. She is also very kind and wouldn’t think twice about helping someone in need.

Bethany moved to Ketterman, West Virginia even before Katy. And she did the exact mistakes as Katy did with Daemon. But instead of Daemon, she did them with his twin brother, Dawson. She fell for him and that caused her to learn about the Lux species and being taken to Mount Weather with Dawson. A year later, Katy moves to Ketterman only to find posters of Bethany. And then she does the same mistakes as Bethany. By book 4, Origin, Bethany and Katy have talked to each other about their experiences at Mount Weather. Katy is the only “hybrid” that Beth knows so they created a pretty steady relationship between each other.

Happy Reading!
