2015 Reading Wrap-Up || December 18

Hello everyone! It’s been quite awhile since I last posted but I’m finally on winter break so I will be able to post more often. For those who don’t know, I just got into reading earlier this year. My friend was always reading beside me in class so I finally hooked myself up with books. I will try to make the list of books below be listed below in chronological order, meaning that the top starts with the books I read in January and ends with the ones I recently finished.

Pretty Little Liars #1 – #5 by Sara Shepard:

These books didn’t actually start my love of reading but they were the first books that I borrowed off of my friend. When I first read them, the plot intrigued me and never left me bored. But now that i think about it, I probably would never read these books. Not that they’re bad or anything. It’s just that they aren’t my type of books.

Legend series by Marie Lu:

These books were practically the beginning for my love of reading. They were all amazing and I couldn’t help myself from spoiling the second book. It was just so good. If you haven’t read any of these, press the links below and go buy them. You won’t regret it.

The Paper Gods series by Amanda Sun:

This series is just incredible. I still haven’t read book three yet but I hope to in the future. These books will forever be in my memory because of what they did to me. They changed my life; changed me into the person I am today.

The 5th Wave Trilogy by Rick Yancey:

So, this series is killing me right now with all of the anticipation for the last book. But anyways, this is the first book that pops into my head when it comes to recommendations. So I recommend it to all of you.

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins:

I’m only counting these in this because I reread them earlier this year. If you have not read this amazing series yet, what are you waiting for? Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

The Secret Diamond Sisters Trilogy by Michelle Madow:

I still haven’t read the final book in this series but by reading the first two, I can already tell that it will be amazing. Michelle writes amazing books that feature aspects of love, friendship, relationships and breakups. These books are ones you won’t want to miss.

The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer:

Seriously, everyone has to read the Twilight Saga. They are some of my favorites of the year. I’ve seen the movies so many times in past occasions that I couldn’t resist reading them.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

The Host by Stephenie Meyer:

Everyone’s heard of the Twilight Saga before, but have you heard of The Host? It’s an adult standalone written by the same author. In my opinion, this book was even better than the Twilight books.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

The LUX series by Jennifer L. Armentrout:

This series is my favorite series ever. It’s so intriguing and I think Daemon mesmerized me once or twice. Just kidding. You would never think that a book about aliens in high school would make sense. Well it does. This series is not one you want to miss.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

The Vampire Diaries #1-#4 by L. J. Smith:

These books were probably the worst ones I read this year. I heard amazing things from viewers of the TV show but the book series just didn’t meet up to my expectations.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner:

This was definitely one of my favorite books of the year and I hope to reread it soon. It was filled with action and romance which really intrigued me. If you’re looking for a sci-fi book, this one is a must read.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

Delirium by Lauren Oliver:

I actually really enjoyed this book. It was filled with forbidden romance which is something that always catches my eyes. I still haven’t come to buying the last two books in this trilogy but I hope to in the new year.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen:

This really wasn’t one of my favorite books. I’m not saying it was bad or anything, it was just boring at times and not easily readable.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

Harry Potter Books 1-3 by J. K. Rowling:

These books are seriously amazing. A lot of magic is used in the books, just warning you. I’m kind of weary of continuing this series because my favorite character dies in the next book.

Amazon  Barnes and Noble  Indigo/Chapters

The Mortal Instruments books 1 and 2 by Cassandra Clare:

These are probably at the top of my list for favorite books of 2015. They were so incredible and left me in awe afterwards. If you haven’t tried picking these books up, what are you waiting for?
